Title: RIDE
Author: Joanna Blake
Releasing December 2015
Cover Model: Chase Ketron :

I'm Jackson Delancey. I work hard, play hard and when it comes to women, I'm always hard.   PLAYBOY. BACHELOR. HEARTBREAKER.   I do whatever I want, when I want to. Chasing women doesn’t interest me. Not with the responsibility of running the famed Delancey Stables falling squarely on my shoulders. Until I meet her. Or rather, she slams into me hollering about some tree that’s on the border between our property lines.   Angelina Randall.   She’s feisty, argumentative and the best looking woman I’ve ever laid eyes on. I’d like to lay other parts on her too- just enough to get her out of my system. I tell her so, but she takes offense. No woman has ever turned down a Delancey and I’m not the kind of man who backs down from a challenge. Especially since I can’t get her out of my mind. The longer it takes to win her over, the more I want to keep her for myself. I’m the man for her, if only she could stop picking fights with me long enough to see it. I’ll make her mine, if I have to drag her to hell and back again. The way things are going, that might be a possibility.   RIDE: The Delancey Brothers Trilogy contains the complete Delancey Brothers series – these stories are not available anywhere else!   This book has THREE stories with guaranteed HEA's and no cheating!

The damn woman had turned me down. After I'd kissed her silly. And she'd kissed me back! She was the most oppositional woman I'd ever met. She was a pain in ass. A real ball buster. A stuck up prude! She was also the first woman to get more than half hearted interested in me since- well- ever. I'd dated my share of girls over the years. Plenty of them. Loads. But the past decade had been almost exclusively meaningless flings. They took care of a temporary need, but nothing more. No entanglements. No relationship. No repeats. That's what I was after with my new, pain in the ass, gorgeous as hell next door neighbor. One night of pure unadulterated, break the headboard sex. Then we would go our separate ways. It was just what I needed. Right? I glanced at her. She was staring straight ahead, ignoring me. She looked annoyed with me. Not that that was anything new. But it didn't matter. She'd kissed me back. The second time anyway. I touched my cheek where she'd slapped it and grinned. I turned into her long driveway and stole a glance at her again. This time I let my eyes wander over her tits and down to her long, lean legs. Hmmfff... the girl was put together right! "Jackson!" I looked up, stopping just in time. I'd almost hit Elle's car where it was parked in the driveway. Whoops. It wasn't my fault Angelina's legs were so damn distracting. She was glaring at me again as she undid her seatbelt. "You are a terrible driver!" I leaned towards her. Enough was enough with this woman. I wasn't having her sass for another damn minute! "No. I'm not." "Yes. You are." "I'm a fine driver. I was just distracted." "By what? We are in the middle of nowhere!" "By you." Her pretty little mouth opened in that way she had and I grabbed her. My tongue plunged into her sweet, warm mouth again and again. I wasted no time putting my hands where I wanted them. On her hips. She had damn good hips. Soft and just right for a man's hands. They'd be perfect leverage when I- "Ouch!" I stared at her in shock. One minute she was kissing me back and the next she was- "Ouch!" She'd slapped me. Twice. Three times in the last fifteen minutes. That had to be some sort of a record. "You have quite a temper Miss Angelina." "It's Ms. Randall!" I smirked as she got out of the car, slamming the door behind her. I watched her ass as it shimmied a bit with each step. She was stomping her cute little feet, angry as all get out. She slammed the front door behind her too. I got out and stretched, then meandered over to the door. I wondered how long it would take her to remember that it was her car, and that I still had her keys. I leaned against the door jam, whistling as I looked up at the stars. A minute later the door slammed open. I hadn't know it was possible to angrily open a door, but she did it. The woman had style, that was for sure. I smirked at her as she huffed at me. But she didn't realize that I was the big bad wolf in this scenario. Not her. She was the little piggie. "Forget something?" She glared at me, holding out her hand. "Keys." Slowly I lifted them up and dropped them into her palm. "Now go!" "Sure thing. Just send Elle out. She's my ride and it's getting chilly out here. Unless you'd rather keep me warm..." She started to say something and then stopped. I could practically see the steam coming out of her ears. I stifled a laugh as she shut the door in my face again. I spoke real loud just to be sure she could hear me. "See you tomorrow sunshine."

Dinner was going great. We talked about future plans and vacations my parents want to take now that Dad is semi-retired. That all changed when dessert was being served, and Kegan got that look in his eye.

“So, KayKay? You told mom about the woman you have living with you yet?” Kegan says like it’s just another piece of everyday news to discuss at the table.

From the corner of my eye, I see both of my parents’ heads snap up and look at me. Center of attention, a position Kegan has always been better at than me. This is his payback for not spilling it about London when he asked. My mind is already thinking of things to do to get back at him; that’s if I don’t strangle him first.

I narrow my eyes at him before speaking. “I do have a house guest,” I respond with as much nonchalance as I can muster.

“Houseguest,” Kegan huffs.

“She’s in the guest room,” I reply and look at my mother. My explanation does nothing to keep the happiness off of her face. Seems I’m as transparent to her as I am to Kegan, and she didn’t show up at the house like he did and see her braless in a tank top and yoga pants.

“And where do you sleep?” Kegan says just before popping an overly large bite of pie into his mouth.

My jaw clenches uncontrollably, and my left eye ticks periodically with my pulse. Fucker.

“How did you meet?” My Aunt Diana asks thinking she’s saving me from Kegan’s questions when she’s actually only making it worse.

Kegan drops his fork on his plate loudly and sits backs far in his chair. “Oh, I love this part of the story.”

Marie James: I’m a full-time, working mother of two boys and wife of 11 years. I've spent almost my entire lifetime living in central Texas, with only short stays in South Carolina, Alabama, and Florida. I've always wanted to write novels and just recently had the gumption to sit down and start one. My passions include reading everything under the sun and plotting out new books to write in the future.

Love Me Like That is my 6th book. I’ve also written the Hale Series and a FanFiction named Psychosis, featuring up and coming cover model, Matthew Hosea, as the main character. This book was done for fun, and all of the proceeds are going to charity. All of my books are currently available on Amazon.

My current work-in-progress is titled Kincaid and is a spin-off motorcycle club novel from the Hale Series. Fans begged for Diego “Kincaid”

Jade’s young life was tough. After her mother died during childbirth and her father could no longer look after her, she was placed in foster care where she stayed for the next ten years. She grew up feeling unloved and unwanted as she was passed around from one screwed up home to the next.

Things began to look up for her when she was adopted by a wealthy socialite at the age of eleven. Sometimes though, things aren’t always what they seem. Jade didn’t know it at the time, but her new adoptive mother had big plans for her, and spent the next seven years grooming Jade for that role.

Jade learnt early in life that she couldn’t rely on anyone but herself. Instead of letting her circumstances beat her, she took all the negatives she’d been dealt, and used them to her advantage. She grew up to be a strong, successful, determined and independent woman. She was a loner by choice.

The only thing lacking in her life was companionship and love. She’d never experienced it, so she didn’t know what she was missing, until she had a one-night-stand with a handsome stranger. One night, that would change everything.

Brock grew up privileged. He had everything going for him. Money, looks, charm, success and an endless array of beautiful women. He wasn’t interested in commitment. To him women were easy. They practically threw themselves at his feet. All they wanted was to do something nobody had ever managed before. Snare the hot, rich bachelor.

Then he met Jade. She was like a breath of fresh air. A challenge. Nothing like the women he was used too. Their one night together ignited something within him. A burning desire to own her, possess her, but Jade had other plans. Nobody says no to Brock Weston, nobody.

He’s left wondering about a woman he knows he can never have. But, when fate brings them together again, will he get what he wants? Will he be able to claim the unattainable? Or will her secrets crush him, and destroy any chance they have of being together?
