Author Bio:
Between studies, teaching, and advising, Sunniva has spent her entire adult life in a college environment. Most of her novels are new adult romance geared toward smart, passionate readers with a love for eclectic language and engaging their brain as well as their heart while reading.
Born in the Land of the Midnight Sun, the author spent her early twenties making the world her playground. Southern Europe: Spain, Italy, Greece--Argentina: Buenos Aires, in particular. The United States finally kept her interest, and after half a decade in Los Angeles, she now lounges in the beautiful city of Savannah.
Sometimes, Sunniva writes with a paranormal twist (Shattering Halos, Stargazer, and Cat Love). At other times, it's contemporary (Pandora Wild Child, Leon's Way, Adrenaline Crush, Walking Heartbreak, and Dodging Trains, coming in late March 2016).
This author is the happiest when her characters let their emotions run off with them, shaping her stories in ways she never foresaw. She loves bad-boys and good-boys run amok, and like in real life, her goal is to keep the reader on her toes until the end of each story.

HE STOLE MY SON

I’ll never forget the night I made the second biggest mistake of my life. It was supposed to be a simple job, but it quickly became so much more—one that cost my freedom and cost my son. Angel Knight became my worst nightmare… and now, he’ll never let us go.

Author Bio

B.B., ALSO KNOWN as Bebe, found her passion for romance when she read her first romance novel by Susan Johnson at a young age. She would sneak into her mother's closet for books and even sometimes the attic. It soon became a hobby, and later an addiction, influencing her life in a positive way.

Bebe is fresh out of undergrad college and has always wondered about the existence of her talent. When she finally decided to pick up a metaphorical pen and start writing, she found a new way to embrace her passion.

She favors a romance that isn't always easy on the eyes or heart, and loves to see characters grow--characters who are seemingly doomed from the start but find love anyway.

Fear Me, her debut novel, is the first of many.

Deadly Ever After (The Black Angel Book Series 2) - Cover Reveal by Hope Irving

Date of Publication: June 2, 2016

Blurb

I, Virgil, know that people prefer to remember the happily ever after ending rather than the dark side in every fairytale. I know better. I learned about the dark side of those stories and the consequences. The fairytale I inherited from the Irish star-crossed lovers didn't turn out so well the first time. I had a shot at bringing the souls of the monk and the witch back together last summer and I failed miserably.

How foolish of me to believe in the awakening of the princess thanks to the handsome prince's kiss when I am no prince! Sharing our true nature with Rose, my clueless soulmate, is a necessary evil. I am on a mission. I trust my soul and our attraction to succeed. I don't trust Bruce, her providential knight in shining armor. He's not who he claims to be. Rose can't be with him. She can only fight our chemistry and her growing magical powers for so long. I need to step back into her life. Woo her, with a vengeance. I'm deadly serious.

I, Rose, used to be numb, until I discovered what it was to feel again, thanks to Virgil. He messed up my mind and overwhelmed my heart with unknown sensations. For once, I was willing to welcome some of those irrational emotions. It's unfortunate that Virgil's indecisions sent me to New York with my summer fling.

How foolish of me to believe in the perfect fairytale Bruce offered me when I am no princess! Some say I am an Amazon. My mind is content with my life but my heart yearns for the wolf to change its course. What if I decide to be an Amazon princess? I'm deadly serious.

Could we actually be soulmates, brought back together by an ancient spell, destined to embrace this unorthodox fairytale and a happy ending?

That would be deadly wicked.

"You know Rose, trust my experience, don't dwell on guilt. I can tell that you're not comfortable in your own shoes for living with that Bruce guy and not forgetting about … what's his name?"
"Virgil." The six letters roll down my tongue like honey. I love saying his name. I love his name. A peculiar name for a peculiar guy. Inspired by Dante. Virgil, the guide through Hell.
As much as I hate to admit it, Meghan, a perfect stranger has a point.
"You ran into Bruce's arms after Virgil rejected you, twice if I heard you correctly. What's the big deal? You chose Bruce and he chose you. You'll figure things out if or when Virgil is back in the picture. This is not the time, and maybe you won't feel the same when you guys meet again. Or maybe you'll want to break it off with Bruce. Take this one step at a time. Thinking about Virgil doesn't mean you don't have feelings for Bruce. And even if you don't, at least you have great sex."
When she says it like this, it sounds so simple.
"Has Bruce ever complained?" I shake my head no. "See, you're both getting something out of this relationship. Think positive. Enjoy yourself."
"Meghan's right, Rose. You've been depressed enough for a lifetime!"
"Listening to you … and again, sorry for eavesdropping … let me tell you, stop judging yourself. I bet you think you're a bitch for using Bruce in a way."
That's a way to put it. Let's see where she's going.
"In his own way, he's using you, too. We're all using people one way or another. You shouldn't care what other people think. Nobody would question your behavior if you were a guy. They'd call you a Don Juan or a manwhore and look at you in awe. And it's not like you're even screwing the whole neighborhood. Look, you only got one life. One chance to test and learn. You will screw up eventually, we all do. But you got back on your own two feet the first time, didn't you?"
Sure, Guillaume ruined a year of my life because I let him.
"You should have the upper hand. You're in control of your own life."
Am I? She sees my doubtful pout.
"Seize the day." That does ring a bell. I succeeded in forgetting my own motto from Bret Easton Ellis' book Rock' n' Roll, deal with it … "Every girl should. You're an Amazon, strong, independent. Embrace your life as it is, Rose."
More words of wisdom. And with that she strides to the cash register. She thanks us for the nice chat and says she'll see us around, eventually.
"Take care girls." She waves at us, smiling. Hopefully she'll have fun with her boyfriend tonight…
As for me, I do miss Virgil. I love my life here but if I had the choice between this and a go with Virgil, I wouldn't hesitate. I want him completely, flaws included. Demi should know this to understand where I'm coming from.
Why hadn't I thought about this before?
I'm glad I told her. She doesn't judge. She doesn't berate. She doesn't pretend.

Excerpt

“Sebby?” I called out, hesitantly walking through the entryway and into the open living space.

“Holy shit!” I exclaimed when my eyes settled on him standing in front of his refrigerator. But that wasn’t what caught me completely off-guard. It was the fact that he was standing there, holding a towel in his hand, exposing himself in all his glory. I quickly spun around, my entire face turning a shade of red that would put my hair color to shame.

“Fuck!” he shouted. “Do you take the world’s quickest shower or something?!”

“Balls,” I muttered, keeping my eyes glued to a large print of a vintage DC-10 that was hanging on the entryway wall.

“What?” he countered, his voice turning light and amused. I could almost picture that sexy and adorable smile drawn on those kissable lips of his.

“There were balls. And stuff.”

He laughed harder than I had heard him laugh in the few weeks I had known him, the rumble echoing in the open space.

“I’ll never be able to look at you again without seeing your balls, Sebby. Just thought you should know that.” I drew a long breath, trying to settle my nerves. Seeing his mouth-watering body completely bare didn’t help matters any. “Here’s what I’m going to do. I’m going to go back to my apartment. I’m going to have a shot of whiskey. Or tequila. Or gin. Or whatever will make my blood pressure drop. And then I’m going to come back and we’ll try this again, okay?”

“I promise I’ll be dressed when you come back.”

“Why were you bare ass naked in your kitchen anyway? Did you want me to walk in on you like that? Trying to show off?”

“Do you think I have something to show off?”

“I… Well…” I shook it off. “I’m not answering that.”

“Okay then.”

“Okay.”

“Baylee…?”

“Yes?” I turned around as one often does when their name is called.

“Jesus!” His expression grew wide and he hastily attempted to hide himself.

“For fuck’s sake!” I spun back and faced the door once more. “Did you not think to cover yourself up after the first time I walked in and saw you naked? I’m still standing here. You know that bath towels serve some rather astonishing purposes these days, the most useful of which being something to wrap around your waist to keep your junk covered! I’m leaving and taking two shots of whiskey. Be back in five minutes.”
