book blurb
Naima vibed with Timothy from the first moment they met. Attraction wasn’t supposed to happen, but it did—with no time to turn back.

Timothy knew better. But that moment—her mouth pressed against his—made him forget about his girlfriend and he would do anything to get another chance to kiss those lips.

Can two close friends get on the same page in this Brown Sugar meets Love Jones interracial erotic romance!
excerpt
Timothy

The drive back to Naima’s place drew question marks. For someone who wasn’t shy, there hadn’t been much to say most of the car ride. Outside of changing the radio station from time to time, there hadn’t been much interaction at all. I didn’t want things to take a turn for the worst. I wanted someone who’d talk to me.

“Please don’t act all shy now. Talk to me. Tell me what you’re thinking. What you’re feeling. Tell me something…” I trailed off, hoping for the best.

“I don’t know what I’m thinking or feeling. I’m just…thinking and feeling.” It was better than hearing nothing. There was still a guard up, so I knew it wasn’t all there was to say. I cut the engine and took the key out the ignition to take away my distractions.

“Here’s what I’m thinking and feeling. Naima, when I’m with you, everything is with you. There aren’t thoughts or body parts or words for anyone else. I don’t deserve any part of you, but I want you. I want to be with you. But if making love is what turns things sour for us, I’m prepared to take things however you’d like to take them. You call the shots here. Nothing happens unless you want it to.”
